Green Process Engineering GmbH in Flensburg is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer (m/f/d) to drive our customized solutions for heat pumps, process optimization, and energy-efficient production. You will be part of a small, interdisciplinary team developing, implementing, and commissioning tailor-made systems for the process industry across Europe.
Responsibilities

Lead technical project phases from pre-engineering and feasibility studies to handover.

Design, size, and optimize heating and recovery systems (heat pumps, heaters).

Perform energy simulations, develop process flow diagrams, and carry out thermal calculations.

Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal disciplines (mechanical, electrical, automation).

Prepare technical proposals, specifications, and after-market concepts.

Support commissioning, performance testing, and customer acceptance on site.

Continuously improve products and processes with a focus on CO₂ reduction and cost-effectiveness.
Your Profile

Degree (Dipl.-Ing., Master or equivalent) in Process Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of professional experience in process or energy engineering, ideally with heat pumps and industrial heating systems.

Strong knowledge of thermodynamic calculations, heat transfer, and energy optimization.

Proven experience in project management, proposal preparation, and customer interaction.

Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., EBSILON, HTRI, or similar) and MS Office.

Excellent German and good English skills; willingness to travel within Europe.
